In this scene, he sees/remembers the past with his red (artificial) eye, and sees what’s happening at the moment with his brown eye.

. He has hit my plane several times and I even had to land once, because he flipped my video TX antenna upside down in a 45 degree angle causing blackouts in my video goggles. You can clearly hear the bird following and attacking me, listen for “thump” sounds and watch for irregular behaviour of my airplane!!
